Internal Medicine Residency

Henry Ford Genesys Hospital delivers specialty and 24/7 emergency care at a Level II Adult Trauma Center. Our hospital is a destination for specialty care including heart, cancer, and stroke care. Our OB-GYNs/maternity care teams deliver personalized birthing experience and advanced neonatal care for sick babies. We offer a range of minimally invasive procedures using robotic-assisted technology, imaging, and an inpatient rehabilitation center, all on one campus. We primarily serve residents of Genesee, Shiawassee, Lapeer, Oakland, Livingston, and Tuscola counties, providing a wide range of medical services to meet the needs of our diverse patient population.

Mission of the Internal Medicine Residency Program

The mission of the Henry Ford Genesys Hospital (HFGH) Internal Medicine Residency is to provide residents with a comprehensive and well-structured education in both cognitive and procedural aspects of internal medicine. Through rigorous training in both inpatient and outpatient settings, our goal is to cultivate competent, proficient, and compassionate internal medicine specialists who are well-prepared for the challenges of modern healthcare.
