How many years is your program?
We are a three-year residency.

How many residents do you take per year?
We take 8 wonderful residents per class.

Are you ACGME accredited?
Yes! We received our initial ACGME accreditation in 2016.

Where does everyone live?
Most of our residents live in the metro Detroit/downtown area, which is an easy 15-30 minute drive to Warren. Royal Oak, Ferndale, and Birmingham are popular neighborhoods that have their own downtown areas.

How many SLOES are required to apply?
We do not require a specific number of SLOES. However, we prefer them. We do require three letters of recommendation.

Do you have an education and food stipend?
Yes! Our residents receive a Professional Development Fund:

• $1,000 for PGY-1 & PGY-2 Residents
• $1,650 for PGY-3 Residents
• $1,500 Food Stipend
• Option 1: prepaid in salary
• Option 2: food card, no year-end cash value

Do you accept foreign medical graduates?
Yes! We accept any applicant who has an ECFMG certification.

Do you sponsor VISAs?
J-1 visas only.
