Alia Higgins, DC

Biographical Statement

Dr. Higgins is a Chiropractic Physician with the Henry Ford Medical Group. She is a board-certified and licensed chiropractor with the Henry Ford Center of Integrative Medicine. Dr. Higgins received her Doctoral degree from Palmer College and Chiropractic. She completed her Bachelor of Science in General Science. Dr. Higgins is Webster certified through the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association) to provide care for expecting mothers to have a healthy pregnancy during pre- and post-natal care. Dr. Higgins is the Associate Director of the HFMG/BCBS statewide, Michigan Back Collaborative.

Dr. Higgins believes in the body's natural ability to heal itself. Through various chiropractic techniques and education of lifestyle changes, she places focus on restoring proper nervous system function to achieve optimal health and wellness. She enjoys providing care for families and seeing patients in all walks of life.

Research Interests

Dr. Higgins is always looking to further her education toward providing exceptional care for the younger population. She strives to be as knowledgeable as possible to best educate her patients on the importance of chiropractic care, even at a young age. Dr. Higgins also enjoys living an active lifestyle. She has a strong interest in learning more about how proper exercise and nutrition can positively impact our wellbeing..
