What if I do not have health insurance?

If you don’t have insurance (also called a “self-pay patient”), you’ll need to pay a deposit before receiving care, unless it’s an emergency.

You’re considered a self-pay patient if:

  • You don’t have proof of valid insurance and none is on file
  • You’re requesting services your insurance doesn’t pay for
  • You’re using a plan we don’t accept, or you don’t have a required referral or authorization

If you are not prepared to pay for services and charges received before your scheduled, non-emergency visit, or you have not made a payment plan with one of our financial counselors, your appointment may be rescheduled.

Self-pay patient deposit amounts:

  • New patient office visit: $250
  • Follow-up office visits: $125 per visit
