The Grand Plan: Infant Care for Grandparents - Online Class (Live) - West Bloomfield

As time has progressed, so have the ways to care for a newborn. The Grand Plan: Infant Care for Grandparents is a place for new and expectant grandparents to join an interactive Microsoft Teams Class format to prepare for this special time in their lives.

This class is taught interactively in Microsoft Teams by prenatal nurses and is geared to discuss communication between parents and grandparents, how grandparents can help during pregnancy, birth and the “Golden Hours” after baby is born. Class includes evidence-based guidelines for best care practices in infant care.

Learn updated baby care practices, including:

• Bathing
• Diapering and dressing
• Swaddling
• Feeding and burping
• Safe sleep
• Car seat safety
• Supporting role of a grandparent
