STOP THE BLEED® - Jackson

Injuries that result in life-threatening bleeding can happen anywhere, at any time. The individual next to a bleeding victim, may be the one who is most likely to save that person from bleeding to death before professional first responders arrive. A STOP THE BLEED®  course will help you become an immediate responder by learning how to control bleeding injuries from serious accidents or disasters.

The STOP THE BLEED® course is for anyone who is interested in learning this lifesaving skill for bleeding control. The course begins with a presentation covering the basics of bleeding control, followed by hands-on practice applying direct pressure, packing a wound, and using a tourniquet to stop bleeding.
